For the first time, we will also present wearables consumer data as part of the EuropeActive Market Report. This session will provide an overview of the current state and trends of the European health and fitness market.
This panel will explore the latest data on wearables from the 2025 European Health & Fitness Market Report and examine the key trends shaping their role in today’s society. The discussion will focus on how wearable technology is influencing consumer behaviour, health monitoring, and the future of the fitness and physical activity sector.

Time to connect. Meet old and new industry peers and friends.
As the European fitness and physical activity sector continues to grow, the challenge is no longer only to expand participation, but to ensure that more people feel that movement is truly for them.
This session will explore how #BEACTIVE DAY has evolved into a Europe-wide campaign promoting inclusion, health and community impact through free and accessible events during the European Week of Sport. Combining campaign results, practical examples and personal reflection, it will invite the audience to look beyond participation numbers and consider what it really takes to create spaces where more people feel they belong.
Celebration of the winners of the EuropeActive Awards, recognising outstanding entrepreneurship, innovation and active citizenship in the European health and fitness sector.
In this keynote, we will explore the evolving role of longevity in the fitness industry – from emerging science and technology to new client journeys and business models. Drawing on global trends and real-world examples, we will discuss how operators can meet the needs of an ageing, health-conscious population and create meaningful, lasting impact.
GLP-1 therapies can act as a catalyst, but long-term success depends on structured physical activity, habit formation and supportive systems that help people maintain health over time.
If we opened our gyms to 14-year-olds tomorrow… would we really be ready? A younger generation is already at our doorstep, shaped by a completely different reality: always connected, constantly observed, and growing up in a world of uncertainty.
This is not just about bringing them into our gyms. It’s about understanding how they think, communicate, and develop, and what they truly need from environments like ours.
In this keynote, we explore what has fundamentally changed in youth development, what these changes mean for mental health and motivation, and how gyms can evolve from training spaces into environments that support growth, confidence, and belonging.
Because welcoming them is easy. Being ready for them is something else.
Bringing together industry icons, this discussion reflects on the day’s key themes and translates cross-sector insights back into the fitness industry. Touching on topics such as GLP-1, longevity, Gen Z, and mental health, the discussion will explore what has already been achieved and where the industry can do more to strengthen its impact.
